And so 2011 has been a great year

No doubt that I miss college life where what I need to do was just concentrating in classes, coming out with great assignments and scoring flying colors in exams.

Completed my internship in Big Blue. I had great mentor aka my supervisor who guided me along through my learning journey in the team. When just started internship I was quite depressed as I thought I was really underperforming all the time. Challenges were there. Managed to overcome it and I think I did well :) Collaborating with her and the team is a great experience because of the process what we have achieved! I’m grateful because I insisted to intern in that company.

Can’t believe that I’m turning 22 soon. Chia Yee, you will go first. Lol. It feels like I just celebrated my 21st birthday yesterday. Although there was no fancy birthday party for my 21st, I was happy enough as I had a wonderful meal at Windmill, cake with friends and family. One year older, one year wiser. I did achieved my 2011 new year resolution. Well, as a student what new year resolution you will have- of course to achieve First Class/ higher CGPA- quoted by Hooi Phing (chio aunty with great fashion sense and wears Ferragamo). Hmm, what would be my new year resolution as a working adult? Working adult? The word that I have to use now?! Oh no

Not sure how well will I fit in my new job and how it will go with new colleagues but I will still do my best. Hope it would be my career, instead of a job. Like when I first started internship I did felt depressed but as time goes by it will become better I guess. Be positive, girl.

Hmm. I think I wrote a lot judging from how much I typed in my phone. Apple is awesome, will definitely buy Apple’s products in the future! *winks

Oh btw 10th episode of The Vampire Diaries is sweet! Damon and Elena kissed awwww! Gossip Girl is returning in 9 days! 49 Days (Korean drama) is nice too, make sure you prepare a box of tissue when you watch! Material Queen (very much like SATC) average only. Lol

Honestly I really don’t like how beauty has been misconstrued by the world or should I say, that’s the reality.

to a certain extent that heavy makeups, slutty dress, showing off your body are only considered pretty, sexy, attractive, stunning or whatever you call it. Some they think they are not pretty and they started to say things like “luxury goods give me confidence”.

I forgot how old was I when I had this definition of beautiful- someone who is friendly,  knowledgeable, have great personality and good features. People’s perception of someone who is beautiful had changed. Natural is beautiful?  By natural you mean without makeups, contact lenses, mascaras and photoshop?

not whining, not complaining, just my thoughts :)

love writing so I will still blog. oh, to earn some side income too- just so u know my allowance is never enough. need to get Finance textbook out and revise how should I budget and plan. hmm

now I’m driving mum’s car to work. the radio doesn’t work which is why I always have some serious thoughts running in my mind while I drive but I will still reach my destination. what do you call that in Psychology?

two sentence and I mentioned about two subjects. God knows I love studying. Anyone would like to sponsor me for Master’s Degree? :) Would definitely major in Finance. Yes. You heard me. Someone who’s so afraid of calculation subjects wants to major in Finance.

I miss friends who miss me. I don’t know whether this particular friend misses me or even remembers me. I still remember how close we were back then; I still remember how crazy we were back then; I still remember how much fun we had back then… Hello, Lisa. How are you?

oh btw my hair is super short again! went for loreal’s charity hair cut drive! the hairstylist thought I recently did rebonding because my hair is smooth and straight. hahaha. all thanks to Asience. I asked about my hair condition because I seriously thought my hair is seriously damaged after I colored my hair. Hairstylist said hair condition is very good and very smooth awwwww but I have splitting ends which explain pretty well about my short hair ;(

Hola! I believe there will be no Monday blues tomorrow for those who are working because tomorrow is a public holiday!

Lately, I’m thinking what I’m going to do after I complete my internship. Where I am going? What I am going to do?

Is it too early for that?

Usually after coming back from work, my time is pretty occupied. No, not outings, not beers or starbucks. drama, drama and drama! from The Vampire Diaries (DAMON!! AWWW), Gossip Girl (Yes, GOSSIP GIRL MONDAY is here soon!), Forensic Heroes, Curse of the Royal Harem to Desperate Housewives!

Yesterday I went to SNHU website to check out about Master courses. One subject is around $1000! #random2

UGHHH doing assignment on Friday night, weekends is so not cool!!!! 30% Paper!

Although internship will end around end of December, I have a feeling that it is ending soon. Time really flies!

What I will do is- do my best, every single day.

I’m glad I enrolled myself in an American Degree Program ;) No regrets! I made the right choice!

I will miss studying in college! The fact is I’m already missing it!
